  • Make sure your box/carton is structurally sturdy and strong enough to carry the weight of the goods inside it.
  • Ensure your goods have cushioning around them, so it reduces the risk of damage in transit. Fill in any voids using suitable filling material, e.g. bubble wrap, styrofoam or similar.
  • Seal the cartons with wide (50 mm) robust tape (no electrical or ducting tape). Secure the carton to safeguard it from opening whilst in transit.
  • Obliterate other markings and addresses written on the carton, if any, remove any old delivery labels.
  • If your goods are fragile, let us know by clearly marking the carton FRAGILE!
  • KORPOL INTERNATIONAL will not accept for shipment any dangerous or prohibited goods – please refer to the Australian Customs Office website for more details.
  • KORPOL INTERNATIONAL will not take responsibility for items that are inadequately packed/protected against normal handling of the packages.
  • If your item is over 30 kg’s, you must ensure there is sufficient assistance to load and/or unload the package to/from the vehicle. Failure to have the assistance required may result in either a futile pickup and/or delivery. Futile pickups and/or re-delivery may attract additional fee.
  • Clearly write on the carton the delivery address, including postcode and the receiver contact phone number(s). Alternatively, the address must be securely attached – e.g. on a white paper attached to the box the way that it cannot be dislodged or damaged.
  • All items must be packed into a carton/box/crate or covered in either bubble wrap or other suitable packaging material, depending on the nature of the item – damage can easily occur due to the incorrect packaging used.
  • Suitcases and travel cases can be sent as they are. They do need to be clearly addressed in such a way that the address will not dislodge in transit, and are securely fastened, e.g. with a padlock.
